Artshow gathered art lovers in one of the most fashionable and interesting places on the map of Warsaw - the HOP building located at Chmielna 132/134 street. An office building from the 1990s has undergone an incredible transformation.
It has become an ideal place to organize events related to culture and art. On three floors of HOP, over 100 artists from all over the country presented their works, and the event was accompanied by numerous workshops and lectures.
Color expert Magdalena Publicewicz answered this question during an exceptionally interesting lecture given on Sunday at 3 p.m.
It can be said that, color by color, she broke down the entire trend palette into prime factors...
She proved that colors can affect all of our senses.
Naturally, when talking about colors, vision remains the key sense, but in the case of "Cinnamon Slate", the Color of The Year for the 2025 season, the sense of touch also played an important role. The color itself seems "powdery", and the feeling is further enhanced by the flocked, plush cover of the brochure.
As befits an artist, she couldn't do without a canvas...
The speaker, like a magician from a hat, pulled subsequent rolls from the paint bucket.
Finally, Magdalena Publicewicz did something no one expected. She cut the canvases into pieces and distributed them to the audience. This is the best way to check shades in the comfort of your home.
Anyone who visited the garage on level -1 of the building discovered a unique zone. The first element that caught attention was the huge lid of the can, painted in the Color of the Year 2025 by Benjamin Moore - the charming "Cinnamon Slate 2113-40".The spotlight highlighted the painting framed in a stylish gold frame and placed on an easel.
The artist, Magdalena Publicewicz, presented "Cinnamon Slate" on it, giving it an exceptionally expressive structure. In the UNDERGROUND zone, painting and sculpture were presented by students of the
Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Other Artshow partners -
Groda - Aranżacja Realizacja Światła - also created an extraordinary space here, and at the
LABRA light thinking exhibition we could discover innovative lighting solutions emphasizing the beauty of art.
Kafeteria Lupo provided a moment of respite with a cup of coffee.
Benjamin Moore paints combine science and art.
The newest, cutting-edge technologies and our own production of essential paint components - resins and colorants, provide an exceptional interior climate. Create an ideal background for both picture galleries and other works of art.
We would like to thank Magdalena Publicewicz and the organizers of Artshow for an excellent adventure with broadly understood art.More interesting information from the world of colors can be found on the website
